Amy Acevedo, Editor-in-Chief

Amy Acevedo is currently a senior at Roxbury High School and has shown an interest in writing from a young age. Her article about Super Bowl LI was selected to be featured in her middle school’s newspaper, boosting her confidence in her writing abilities. When she is not writing for her journalism class or the school newspaper she enjoys being a member of the track team, participating in Interact Club events, and spending time with her friends and family. Amy was the sports editor for the 2018-2019 school year and the news editor for the 2019-2020 newspaper. Her life will always come back to journalism, as she hopes to study journalism and sports broadcasting in college and work in that same field. Amy has enjoyed both participating in and watching sports from a young age, leading to her interest in writing. You can contact Amy directly via email at [email protected].
