Giulianna E. Falquez is currently a senior at Roxbury High School. Giulianna is completely bilingual, as she speaks Spanish and English fluently and is learning French. Giulianna had to learn from a young age the essential skills of reading and writing so that she could expand her vocabulary as she was studying English in the ESL program—that's when she developed a love for reading and writing. She has been reading ever since she could grab onto a book. She enjoys reading fiction because it allows her to escape from reality. Giulianna also loves to be creative—from editing videos to doodling to writing fiction. Giulianna loves to create fictional stories based on dreams and just random ideas that pop into her head. Giulianna loves to stay involved in the community. She is a part of the Executive Board of the National Honors Society and French National Honors Society and Vice President of the Junior States of America, along with other leadership positions in her community. She is proudly a 3-year recipient of the Academic Excellence Award and hopes to continue succeeding in her academic career. She plans on going to college this upcoming school year and either majoring in Pre Law or International Business. Her ultimate goal in life is to be happy alongside her family and Christ.
