Samantha Olander is an aspiring journalist. She is a junior at Roxbury High School and a new writer for the Roxbury Review. She plays high school and club volleyball, and is a member of the Interact and Varsity R club. Samantha’s passion for writing has stemmed from her curiosity and long-term love for reading (especially mystery novels!). Looking into the future, she wants to use journalism as a way to have her words educate and inspire people all over the globe. Specifically, Samantha is interested in political and investigative journalism, and hopes to pursue this in the future. When Samantha is not writing, you can find her playing volleyball, reading the news, scrolling through Tik Tok, or sleeping, which is by far her favorite pastime.
