Emily Cegielnik is a passionate Senior at Roxbury High School and the Editor-in-Chief for The Roxbury Review. Her interests range from exploring the vibrant energy of live concerts and immersing herself in music to cherishing moments with her family and being involved in school extracurriculars. Emily’s writing reflects her dedication to topics such as arts and entertainment, advocating for equality, and mental health awareness. Inspired by a journalism class experience in 8th grade, Emily found her calling in journalism and has been captivated by the power of storytelling ever since. She aspires to pursue a career as a music journalist, envisioning herself thriving in New York City. Emily will be continuing her academic career at County College of Morris as a Journalism major, and plans to transfer to a four-year school to earn her bachelor’s degree after graduating.
