Angelina Guancione is currently a senior at Roxbury High School and is an aspiring writer/journalist. She has been jotting down stories and articles since she could pick up a pencil. Angelina loves to create fictional stories based on her crazy imagination or real-life experiences. She was inspired to keep writing when she wrote an article about touring Princeton in 4th grade for the “Celebrate New Jersey: The New Jersey Scoop” competition. She got to talk about her work in front of the judges who selected her, which gave her the confidence she has today to continue writing. So far, she has written many articles about big issues and news around the world. Her favorite topics to write about are sports, world issues, drama, and mental health awareness. Angelina is on the Roxbury High School softball team and is an active member of the Interact Club. Angelina wants to pursue her dream of studying journalism or education in college. Her goal is to be able to travel the world and discuss important issues with the public that aren’t getting the recognition they deserve.
