- 3/6: Rox-THON held their 12-hour dance marathon Friday night into Saturday morning, raising a grand total of $148,572.31, surpassing last years total! 70% of the proceeds will go to Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, and 30% will go to Four Diamonds Cancer Research.

🎉 Congratulations to Nolan McAdams, a junior at Roxbury High School, on being selected as a BigFuture Ambassador for the Spring 2026 cohort by the College Board! As an ambassador, Nolan will help classmates explore college and career options, share planning resources, and inspire peers to take steps toward their future using the free BigFuture platform. This national leadership role recognizes his commitment to helping others succeed after graduation. We are Roxbury Proud of Nolan’s achievement and the positive impact he will make in our school community! 👏🎓

Congratulations to the Roxbury High School students who made all state honors band! Alexander Fullum, Liam Shlam, and Caden Scire earned their spots after a competitive series of auditions which included a collegiate-level solo, sight reading, and scales. Furthermore, Alexander Fullam is awarded the prestigious NJMEA Governor’s Award for Band. This award was given to him because of his outstanding achievement and dedication to the arts.
Ten talented student artists from Roxbury High School recently participated in the High School Student Exhibition at the Peters Valley School of Craft Gallery in Layton, NJ. This annual exhibition gives students the exciting opportunity to experience what it’s like to have their work displayed in a professional gallery setting.
👏 A huge shoutout to Sabria Adragna (Grade 12) for officially selling one of her pieces at the gallery — an incredible accomplishment! We are so proud of you.
🌟 Special congratulations to Paige Lohmus and Natalie Torrise, whose stunning artwork was selected to be featured on the official show flyer for the exhibition.
The exhibition ran from January 17 – February 15, 2026, highlighting the creativity and dedication of young artists from across the region. We are incredibly proud of our Roxbury students for sharing their talent and representing our school community so well!

- The RHS spring musical’s opening night is taking place in the Roxbury High School’s auditorium on March 12th, at 7pm!

Spring Sports have officially begun!
Wrestling:
- 🏆Junior Nolan Monaghan delivered a dominant performance in the District 6 Championship. Monaghan earned a 17-2 technical fall in the semifinals and sealed his title with a pin at the 2:07 mark in the finals. A statement performance from start to finish! Four more Gaels powered their way to the finals and brought home silver medals:
- 🥈Jaedon Reilly: Advanced with a 17-2 technical fall and a hard-fought semifinal win before finishing second.
- 🥈Charlie Bacinsky: Impressively reached the finals with a 15-0 technical fall in the semifinals.
- 🥈Patrick Shivas: Punched his ticket to the finals with a thrilling 3:45 pin in the semifinal round.
- 🥉Ian McMahon: also secured his advancement to Regionals, highlighted by a lightning-fast 41-second pin and a decisive third-place victory.

Music:

- Roxbury Township Public Schools proudly congratulates RHS Director of Choirs and Lead Teacher of Performing Arts Patrick Hachey on being selected to conduct the NJ All-State Treble Choir from February 19–22. This prestigious honor has been awarded to only 10 high school teachers in the ensemble’s 25-year history — and marks Mr. Hachey’s second time conducting an All-State choir during his 26-year career in music education, including 22 dedicated years serving the Roxbury community. 👏
- 🎼 All-State Honors: Four RHS students were selected to rehearse and perform in Atlantic City under Mr. Hachey’s leadership through the New Jersey Music Educators Association (NJMEA):

- Roxbury HOSA: HOSA is an international student organization to promote career opportunities in the health care Industry to help train future leaders and improve health care worldwide. Members study specific healthcare-related subjects before attending regional, and even state or national competitions, possibly even making it to the International Leadership Conference, where their medical knowledge is tested on an International scale. Our club is great for those interested in medicine and STEM, and is also a great club to put on college transcripts! Google Classroom Code: Jhgq72g.
- JSA: The Mission of JSA is to strengthen American democracy by educating and preparing high school students for lifelong involvement and responsible leadership in a democratic society. They are a nonpartisan, student-led organization with the mission of fostering civic engagement among high schoolers through regular debates, local events, information about current events, and activism and volunteering opportunities. They provide students with a platform to voice their opinions and engage in meaningful discussions. Through our activities, they hope that students will develop their own unique and informed worldviews and create change.
