Fundraisers:
- Sweeten the season and spread some holiday cheer! Candy cane grams will be sold December 16th through December 19th before school in the Main Lobby and during all lunch blocks. Candy canes will be sold for $1.50 or $2.00 to include a message to a special someone. All proceeds support the freshman class! Don’t miss out – grab yours before they’re all gone! Happy holidays!

- Environmental Club: Meetings are on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month in G161. They present on current environmental topics, work in the front garden, host guest speakers, create bulletin boards, make environmentally friendly crafts, and host open discussions. Advisors: Mrs. Dunn & Ms. Fagan.
- Model UN: Meets every other Wednesday in N224. Their first competition will be at Seton Hall University on February 7th and 8th! Google Classroom Code: t2de6sf.
- Roxbury HOSA: HOSA is an international student organization to promote career opportunities in the health care Industry to help train future leaders and improve health care worldwide. Members study specific healthcare-related subjects before attending regional, and even state or national competitions, possibly even making it to the International Leadership Conference, where their medical knowledge is tested on an International scale. Our club is great for those interested in medicine and STEM, and is also a great club to put on college transcripts! Google Classroom Code: Jhgq72g.
- JSA: The Mission of JSA is to strengthen American democracy by educating and preparing high school students for lifelong involvement and responsible leadership in a democratic society. They are a nonpartisan, student-led organization with the mission of fostering civic engagement among high schoolers through regular debates, local events, information about current events, and activism and volunteering opportunities. They provide students with a platform to voice their opinions and engage in meaningful discussions. Through our activities, they hope that students will develop their own unique and informed worldviews and create change.
- Yearbook Club: Meeting every other Tuesday in room H171 at 2:15.
- Model UN: Meeting every other Wednesday in room N224
- Varsity R: Meeting once a week in the gym.
- National Honor Society: National Honor Society decorated the office for the staff on 12/12. The staff is also welcome to bring gifts to the library during designated times to have their gifts wrapped for their families!

Student of the Week: Kimmie Corrado
Our 12/15 Student of the Week is Kimmie Corrado!
Kimmie Corrado is a Sophomore at Roxbury High School. She is a member of the Varsity Girls’ Soccer and Girls’ Basketball teams. Kimmie’s days outside of school are spent shopping at a mall and playing at soccer tournaments. Kimmie was awarded the Renaissance Award for academic achievements. Some of Kimmie’s friends and teachers had the following to say:

Congratulations to Kimmie, our 12/15 Student of the Week!

- Congrats to Jaelyn Fogg! She will be continuing her academic career at the College of Charleston, majoring in Business and Marketing. Her future plans are to build a career in business, hopefully creating one of her own. Go Cougars!
- Congrats to Camille Costa! She will be continuing her academic career at Roger Williams University, majoring in civil engineering and architecture. Her future plans are to become an engineer-architect and eventually open her own firm. Go Hawks!
