• Environmental Club: Meetings are on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month in G161. They present on current environmental topics, work in the front garden, host guest speakers, create bulletin boards, make environmentally friendly crafts, and host open discussions. • Roxbury HOSA: HOSA is an international student organization to promote career opportunities in the health care Industry to help train future leaders and improve health care worldwide. Members study specific healthcare-related subjects before attending regional, and even state or national competitions, possibly even making it to the International Leadership Conference, where their medical knowledge is tested on an International scale. Our club is great for those interested in medicine and STEM, and is also a great club to put on college transcripts! Google Classroom Code: Jhgq72g.
• JSA: The Mission of JSA is to strengthen American democracy by educating and preparing high school students for lifelong involvement and responsible leadership in a democratic society. They are a nonpartisan, student-led organization with the mission of fostering civic engagement among high schoolers through regular debates, local events, information about current events, and activism and volunteering opportunities. They provide students with a platform to voice their opinions and engage in meaningful discussions. Through our activities, they hope that students will develop their own unique and informed worldviews and create change.

Our 11/10 Student of the Week is Taylor Schauble!

Taylor Schauble is a Senior at Roxbury High School. She is the Senior Class President, Peer to Peer President, Rox-THON Morale Director, Roxbury Review Editor-In-Chief, National Honors Society Board Member, and is involved in various other clubs. Taylor’s days outside of school are spent playing volleyball, baking, hanging out with her friends, watching/attending sports events, and listening to music. Fun fact: Taylor’s favorite artist is Zach Bryan, and her favorite sport is hockey. She is currently an intern for ONNJSports, and covers the New Jersey Devils, Somerset Patriots, and a variety of high schools and colleges. Taylor aspires to attend a large athletic school and run sports media outlets, and eventually work for a professional sports organization. Some of Taylor’s friends and teachers had the following to say:
