Over its 30 year history, Roxbury’s Gaelvision Club has been reporting past, upcoming, and current news around the high school. Gaelvision is organized by Mrs. Deborah Burleigh, the teacher of all television and production classes and Mrs. Roxanne Caivano, the head media specialist who also assists in television classes.

In a recent interview, Mrs. Burleigh recently stated she has “a hardworking group of students this year.” Each week, Gaelvision produces a video of the events that are occurring at the high school. The video is primarily created by students involved in the television production classes, sports news classes, or are interested in the media industry.

Every student is assigned a specific roll for that week of making a new video. The rolls consist of reporters, recorders, editors, or photographers. The students converse together to create the final product. The video is then released onto our social media to be viewed by the community. Gaelvision has been successful for many years and continues to strive as one of the top reporting clubs in the area.
