Sam Medina, Arts and Entertainment Editor
Sam Medina is a young artistic Freshman who attends Roxbury High School in New Jersey. She began showing an interest in the arts at a very young age. Recently, she has shown an interest in writing after taking a Journalism class in eighth grade, she decided to write an article about the EMS Drama Club Production, Mary Poppins, which was put into the school newspaper. Sam has a passion for drawing, painting, listening to music, and video games. She enjoys drawing sketches and painting with watercolors, reading, and finding music she loves. During her free time, she spends hours painting-while listening to music and playing The Sims 4. Sam does not have a favorite genre, she loves almost anything she listens to. When Sam is not painting or playing video games, she can be found either reading or watching her favorite animes such as My Neighbor Totoro, Naruto, and Pokémon XYZ. Sam’s plans for the future are to become an environmental scientist and to make a major impact on the Earth’s environment. For now, she works on being environmentally conscious, being a good student, and spending time with her brother and dog.
