Miscellaneous:
- 9/22 – Senior Open Lunch begins on September 22nd. You will not be able to go out if you turn in your paperwork the same day. The cut-off for community service hours / open lunch applications will be October 27th. Resumption of processing community service hours / open lunch applications on January 5th.
- 9/23 – School will be closed for Rosh Hashanah on September 23rd.
- 9/30 – Spirit Week will be held on the week of September 30th: Check back to read the Roxbury Review next week to find out the themes!
- Now – Oct. 31st: The 2025-2026 yearbook is now on sale until October 31st! After the 31st of October, the book will stay at a consistent price until the day of distribution in June. Don’t delay, it has sold out year-after-year!

- The Marching Band Classic will be held on September 20th, 2025 at 5 PM. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for senior citizens/children, and free for 4 years old and younger. - R.I.S.E Club: Roxbury R.I.S.E. met after school on Tuesday in O233! They discussed leadership elections- ideas for fundraisers- and how to apply for the Leadership Symposium on October 23rd!
- Rox-THON: Their first meeting is on Thurs (09/25) after school in the Media Center 2:15 – 3:15pm.
- National Art Honor Society: NAHS is now accepting applications! See one of the visual art teachers for a form and drop it off in room E142 by TODAY: Friday, September 19th.
- The Roxbury Review: The Roxbury Review is looking for new contributors. Please join us for our First Interest Meeting on Tuesday, October 7th. You can also join our Google Classroom page with this code: 7mm4ltu
- Environmental Club: Meetings are the second and fourth Thursday of the month in G161. They present on current environmental topics, work in the front garden, host guest speakers, create bulletin boards, make environmentally friendly crafts, and host open discussions. Advisors: Mrs. Dunn & Ms. Fagan.
- Model UN: Meets every other Wednesday in N224. Their first competition will be at Seton Hall University on February 7th and 8th! Google Classroom Code: t2de6sf.
- Roxbury HOSA: HOSA is an international student organization with the goal of promoting career opportunities in the health care Industry to help train future leaders and improve health care worldwide. Members study specific health care related subjects before attending regional, and even states or national competitions, maybe even making it to the Intemational Leadership Conference where their medical knowledge is tested on the International scale. Our club is great for those interested in medicine and STEM, and is also a great club to put on college transcripts! Google Classroom Code: Jhgq72g.
- JSA: The Mission of JSA is to strengthen American democracy by educating and preparing high school students for lifelong involvement and responsible leadership in a democratic society. They are a nonpartisan, and student-led organization with the mission of fostering civic engagement among high schoolers through regular debates, local events, information about current events, and activism and volunteering opportunities. They provide students a platform to voice their opinions and engage in meaningful discussions. Through our activities, they hope that students will develop their own unique and informed worldviews and create the change.
- Varsity R: The Varsity R club meets once a week in the gym.
- Model UN: The Model UN Club meets every other Wednesday in room N224.
- Yearbook Club: The Yearbook Club meets every other Tuesday in room H171 at 2:15.
