Our 5/12 Teacher of the Week is Mrs. Hopper!
Mrs. Hopper is a history teacher at Roxbury High School. She has been teaching at Roxbury for 20 years and has made a tremendous impact on her students and peers in those years. She loves the outdoors, music, and spending time with her awesome family. But mostly she loves teaching history!
“History is my Jam!”-Mrs. Hopper
“Mrs. Hopper is an excellent teacher. Her soul is so bright, and she is such a heart-warming teacher from whom you can always ask for help. She always knows how to make a history topic seem fun or interesting. I loved having her as my history teacher in my junior year, and I couldn’t be happier to have her again in my senior year for an elective.” – Vanessa Burgos, 12
“I am so glad Mrs. Hopper is Teacher of the Week! To get to know Mrs. Hopper, it is impossible to not love her and her class. She always greets you with a smile no matter if you are a current or past student, and it goes a long way. She cares about her students so much, and does everything in the benefit of them. If you’re lucky enough to have Mrs. Hopper as a teacher, tell her I said hello! She is extremely deserving!!!” – Alexis Oliveira, 12
“Mrs. Hopper is an amazing teacher! She makes history so intriguing and knows how to get her students involved. Mrs. Hopper always has a smile on her face. She is always joyful, which makes her class so enjoyable!! Mrs. Hopper wants the absolute best for her students, and she is definitely deserving of Teacher of the Week! – Lily Polster, 11
Congratulations to Mrs. Hopper, our 5/12 Teacher of the Week!
