- Students must now have some form of school ID ready (either a school-issued ID card or a QR code from Genesis) to purchase lunch from the cafeteria, effective immediately.
- Grades 9-11 are currently picking their classes! Fill out the request forms on Genesis. Make sure to check your emails for a pass!
- Congratulations to Gibby Salvia, who won Morris County’s Unsung Hero! The
award ceremony will be hosted by the NJSBA at Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway on Wednesday, April 2 at 6:30 pm.
- ESL WIDA Testing is happening until Friday, March 28.
- Marking Period 3 ends on March 31, and Marking Period 4 begins on April 1.
- Paraprofessional Appreciation Day is April 3.
- School Librarian Appreciation Day is April 4.
- Seniors will have an “After The Fire” assembly on April 16.
- Spring Break will be from April 17 to April 25 — just under one month away!

- An Interesting meeting occurred in R261 on Wednesday after school. See or email Mrs. McGinley if you’re interested and could not attend!
Congratulations to the 4 Winter Track athletes and Ice Hockey team for being recognized Monday night (3/17) for their winter sports achievements! The Ice Hockey team received championship sweatshirts for their Haas Cup win last month, and the 4 track athletes, (Amanda Knapp, Hayle Green, Sean Keenan, & Shayne Spiteri) for their indoor track achievements where they received plaques! Congratulations again to all of these amazing athletes on their success!
CHOIR
- On Saturday (3/29), RHS will be hosting the 32nd Annual Roxbury Choir Invitational from the morning to 10:00 PM.
- Choir Guest Artists Days will be held on 3/26 and 3/28.
MARCHING BAND
- Marching Band registration for the 2025 season is officially open! Fill out this form to register! The Marching Gaels will be putting on their show entitled “The Transmission”, a space inspired performance! Watch the trailer here!
INDOOR COLOR GUARD
- Congratulations to Roxbury’s Indoor Color Guard for placing 1st with a score of 75.40! The team performed their show “Bad to the Bone” in the SRA3 division, and they made a 15 point jump from their last competition!
- The Color Guard will be having a competition this Saturday (3/22) at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. They will perform their show “Bad to the Bone” in the SRA3 division at 4:45 PM! Good Luck to the Color Guard!
TRI-M
- This month is “Music in Our Schools Month”, so every day the TRI-M club will be giving a fun music fact on the morning announcements!
CLUBS
Spanish Club Schedule:

The club’s purpose is to appreciate the culture of the Spanish-speaking world and encourage as many people as possible in Roxbury High School to participate. There will be more meetings. Email Kevin Cantwell and Maria Jose Navarro for any further questions or more information.
- The National Honor Society had its monthly March meeting on Thursday (3/20) in the cafeteria for all members.
- The Equal Rights Advocacy Club met on Tuesday, March 11th to discuss the Pink Tax and prepare for their Project Self-Sufficiency fundraiser. They will be collecting feminine products beginning on Monday, March 17th in boxes around the school for Project Self-Sufficiency in Newton, New Jersey.
Mr. Dolan is our 3/17 Teacher of the Week! He has been a teacher at Roxbury High School for 23 years and has taught students as a whole for 28 years. He is a teacher in Physical Education and advocates for health and fitness. Mr. Dolan teaches all grades but mainly underclassmen. He also helps out the sports program by coaching freshman football, assisting coaching for the golf team, and also coaching the middle school wrestling program. He also co runs the Varsity R club that takes varsity athletes and works to better the community. Lastly in his free time he enjoys being outside, spending time with family, and coaching! All around Mr.Dolan is a great guy!
