Our 2/24 Student of the Week is Vanessa Burgos!
“I’m originally from Rhode Island and moved to New Jersey when I was 4. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and trying new things. I love summer, acai bowls, traveling, and taking pictures to cherish memories. Throughout my 4 years at Roxbury High School, I enjoyed my English classes. I used to play soccer at the age of 7 and played on a traveling team. The career I want to pursue is becoming a police officer and then transitioning to a detective. I would always binge-watch crime shows; my favorite out of all is ‘Swat’.”- Vanessa Burgos
“I have had the honor of teaching Vanessa for 3 separate classes during her time at Roxbury High School. In this time, I have known Vanessa to be kind, conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated. She is a great student and definitely deserving of Student of the Week.” -Mrs. Santoro, English
Congratulations to our 2/24 Student of the Week!
