Teacher of the Week: Mr. Geary
Our 2/17 Teacher of the Week is Mr. Geary!
“I greatly appreciate being honored as the teacher of the week! As my students know, I can get very excited and animated as I am teaching. One of my students recently asked me if I was “actually this excited” about what they were learning, and the truth is that I am. I love what I do and I love sharing that passion with my students. Math is not everyone’s favorite class, so I am happy that I am able to help my students enjoy learning it. I have been teaching for almost 10
years now, and the 3 that I have spent at Roxbury have been my favorite. This is a testimony to the people here; from the staff to the leadership team and to the students in my classes. They all make it a great place to teach. I hope to inspire my students as they have inspired me to continue doing what I love.”
“Coach Geary is both an awesome coach and teacher! All of my friends love their classes with him and despite never having one personally I’ve heard it’s always a fun time. Having Coach Geary as my JV coach sophomore year, the season was amazing and I was so grateful to have been supported and coached by Coach Geary! Practices were always a mixture of fun and hard work, and I couldn’t have asked for a better season and coach. I am so grateful that he is been there for me and my teammates throughout our high school volleyball journeys! Congrats Coach Geary!” – Taylor Schauble
“Mr. Geary is such a cool and amazing teacher! I loved having Mr. Geary for geometry my sophomore year, and still to today (my senior year) he greets me in the hallway with a hello and smile! He is very deserving of teacher of the week!!”
Congratulations to our 2/17 Teacher of the Week!
