Our 10/7 Student of the Week is Alyssa Bukosky! Alyssa Bukosky is a Junior and Varsity athlete at Roxbury High School. Alyssa is a starting player on the RHS volleyball team. To her peers, Alyssa is a true role model to students and athletes around her.
“I am very happy to speak on behalf of Alyssa. Alyssa is a bright, enthusiastic student. I was fortunate enough to have her in my USII class last year and in my World History class this year. Alyssa seems to enjoy history and loves research. She always arrives to class with a smile and a positive attitude. Alyssa is an outstanding student and puts forth her best effort in every assignment. What I have noticed most, however, is how she treats her fellow students. Alyssa seems to have a kind word or smile for everyone she meets. I am so glad she is being profiled as student of the week.”- Mr. Tomasheski, Social Studies Teacher
“Alyssa is a very bubbly and outgoing student. She is one of the spokes of laughter revolving around the lab table.”- Mr. Donegan, Science Teacher
“Alyssa’s fun-loving personality and dedication to the team help to make her a strong leader within the RHS Varsity volleyball team. Alyssa works hard both on and off the court and excels in every aspect of being a student-athlete. She is a great role model for young athletes to look up to.” – Mrs. Roumes, Coach
“Alyssa has a wonderful personality and an excellent work ethic. She is intrinsically motivated and raises the bar for those around her.” – Mr. Geary, Coach
Congratulations to our 10/7 Student of the Week!
