Our 9/23 Student of the Week is Charles Bacinsky! Charles is currently a junior at RHS and has made a big impact on his peers during his time here at Roxbury High School.
When asked about himself, Charles said: “ My name is Charles Bacinsky and I am a Junior at Roxbury High School. As a student-athlete I aim to succeed in the classroom and maintain high grades while balancing sports and work outside of academics.” Charles is the captain of the school’s wrestling team, and also part of a club team individually. “As a captain, I try to lead the team to success and be a role model for the young wrestlers.” Charles is active in school activities including the DECA Club, Varsity R, FBLA Club, and also indulges in his academics by challenging himself with advanced placements in his classes. “ My goals are to graduate high school with a decorated wrestling career and a high GPA before attending college to pursue a job in the medical field.” Charlie’s hardworking characteristics and bright future don’t go unnoticed, which is evidenced by the following quote:
“Charlie is a pleasure to have on the wrestling team. He has an enormous amount of natural ability, but he doesn’t let that get to his head, he is one of the hardest workers we have in the room. He was voted a captain by his peers because of his work ethic. Charlie is just an all-around great person, someone who I can trust to always do the right thing. He has put a lot of work in, in the off-season, so I am extremely excited for his junior season!” -Mr. Roman, Gym Teacher and Wrestling Coach.
Congratulations to Charles Bacinsky, our 9/23 Student of the Week!
