Our 9/16 Teacher of the Week is Mrs. Sheldon!
This is Mrs. Sheldon’s 25th year at RHS. She majored in Biology at Rutgers and received her Master of Arts in Teaching at Montclair State. “I am extremely fortunate that I was able to combine my two passions and have such a fulfilling career. I enjoy teaching science because my students get to perform a lot of lab experiments and I think they have fun doing them. I love that I get to meet new students every year, who each bring unique experiences with them.” Mrs. Sheldon’s days outside of school are spent attending her two daughters’ sporting events and as many RHS events as she can get to throughout each season. Some of Mrs. Sheldon’s students had the following to say:
“Mrs. Sheldon is the best! There is no way I would’ve survived Bio Honors last year if she hadn’t been by my side the whole year! Not only is Mrs. Sheldon an amazing teacher, she is someone I would always come to when I have something to talk about or something I’m excited about. Mrs. Sheldon is so supportive to all of her students, not only in the classroom but as someone in the building that you can go to whenever! I always look forward to seeing her in the halls and visiting her classroom, and anybody who gets to have her as their teacher is a very lucky student! Thank you Mrs. Sheldon for being not only the best teacher, but an amazing role model and her students’ #1 fan!” – Taylor Schauble, Junior
‘Mrs. Sheldon is by far one of the best teachers I’ve ever had! Her kindness always made my day and I always looked forward to her class. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. She is such an amazing person and I’m so lucky that I was able to have her as a teacher.” -Katie Caron, Senior
Congratulations to Mrs. Sheldon, our 9/16 Teacher of the Week!
