Student and Teacher of the Week: Learn About It!

Have you ever had a person change your life but you have no way to recognize their greatness? The Roxbury Review has a section for you: Student and Teacher of the Week, where you can shine a light on those awesome people in your life!

Student and Teacher of the Week started as part of our Roxbury Recap on February 1st, 2024. This section of the Roxbury Recap was introduced to highlight those who have had a positive impact on you or those around you. Whether it be a teacher or a friend who made a beneficial change, you have the opportunity to celebrate those who deserve it! The Student and Teacher of the Week switch off every week, and it will be announced every Friday morning.

To nominate those people in your life or even yourself, all you have to do is go on our Instagram page, @roxburyreview, follow our page, and DM your nominations to us! I know, it’s that easy!

Mia Bacalhau is a Junior and a varsity cheerleader at Roxbury High School. She spends her free time listening to her favorite music and hanging out with her friends. Mia enjoys writing about world issues and fashion. She has big plans for her future, but for now she is excited to pursue the many opportunities and options her high school career offers. Lily Polster, Editor

Lily Polster is a sophomore at Roxbury High school. In her free time, Lily enjoys spending time with friends and watching movies. Lily focuses on growing up to be successful and hard working. Lily writes about historical and current events. She enjoys socializing and getting to know people. Lily has always enjoyed writing and spreading information about topics she finds important. Journalism is something she really enjoys because she likes being able to find new ideas to write about, and researching different topics. Lily likes being introduced to new ideas consistently because it allows her to think outside the box and focus on more than just one topic or genre that she enjoys.
