Alexandra is Battery Section Leader for the Marching Band, Affirmative Captain for the Debate team, and Director of Debates for Junior States of America. Laura as President of Junior States of America, a member of the Marching Band, the Negative Captain for the Debate Club, and a member of Model UN. Their friends and teachers are inspired by their all-around kindness and willingness to help others which is evidenced by the following quotes:
“Alex and Laura are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! My first day joining Debate, they made me feel so welcome, and I had no idea that I was about to make some of the best friends through the club! Alex is the best affirmative captain possible, and knowing I have someone who has my back at all times is the best feeling! Laura was my first friend in debate, and I’ll forever be grateful for her welcoming me into the club with open arms! Both are the absolute kindest, smartest, and courageous girls ever, and I’m so glad that I get to call them my captains, and friends. Good luck with college, Alex and Laura! I’ll miss you both so much!” – Taylor Schauble, Editor
“I have known Alex and Laura since my freshman year and they have always been the dynamic duo of my extracurriculars. They are both incredibly intelligent, witty, and friendly people who not only are amazing friends but offer incredible advice for those under them in their clubs. I am so grateful to have met such wonderful people and I hope for the best for both of them as they graduate high school!” – Gavin Gardner, Editor-In-Chief
“Alexandra and Laura are two incredibly smart students and everyone knows they will accomplish great things in the future. I have had the pleasure of knowing Alex and Laura through classes and Marching Band and they are great people to be around! I wish the best for them in the future outside of Roxbury High School!” – Abbie Entel, Editor
Congratulations to Alexandra and Laura, our 4/29 students of the week!
