Our teacher of the week is Ms. Foster! Ms. Foster is a Special Education teacher, and she has been teaching at Roxbury High School for 19 years. She was even named Teacher of the Year in 2017! If you were lucky enough to have her, you most likely had Mrs. Foster teaching English alongside Mrs. Schmidt—as the two have spent many years co-teaching together. Mrs. Foster is known for her bubbly personality, warm smile, generous heart, and goofy pranks! You might even catch her dancing in R Hall on her favorite day of the week, Dance Party Friday!
Students and staff all around RHS appreciate her kindness which is evidenced by the following quote:
“Mrs. Foster is so welcoming and fun to have in class. She cares deeply about her students in the classroom and goes out of her way to create such positive relationships with them. She has always been extremely helpful and has taught me many valuable life lessons. She will never fail to greet you with a smile and do anything she can to make your day a little better. If you are lucky enough to have Mrs. Foster as a teacher, you will be just as grateful as me to have had her!” -Alexis Oliveira
“Mrs. Foster is a pleasure to work with! She is always smiling, kind, and generous. Her positivity is infectious and adds a much-needed energy to our building. Mrs. Foster is a wonderful teacher, a wonderful colleague, and a wonderful friend. She is very deserving of this distinction!” -Mrs. Santoro
Congratulations to Mrs. Foster, our 3/11 teacher of the week!
