The Summer breeze turning into autumn leaves – get ready because it is officially fall! From apple cider, to pumpkin pies, and the crisp autumn air, fall is undoubtedly a season loved by all. One of fall’s best traditions is to make an apple pie, grab a cozy blanket and get comfortable for a fan-favorite fall activity: movie night!

#1 Hocus Pocus
The spooky story by David Kirschner and Mick Garris features teenagers Max Dennison, (Omri Katz) Dani Dennison, (Thora Birch) and their friend Allison (Vinessa Shaw). In the movie, Max accidentally sets free a bunch of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) after exploring an abandoned house where the witches used to live. In order to not become immortal, the kids need to work together to steal the witch’s spellbook to save themselves.
#2 Nightmare Before Christmas
This Walt Disney film is loved by many. Following the pumpkin king, Jack Skellington and his adventures, after becoming bored with the same old routine of scaring people, he unintentionally finds Christmastown. After seeing the light and joy of Christmastown he plots to kidnap Santa Claus and take over Christmas. The story by Tim Burton is a fan favorite, and will be remembered throughout time.
#3 Little Women
Released in 1994, Little Women is a movie about sisters Meg, Beth, Jo, and Amy who live at home with their mother, who for her time, was very outspoken. With their father fighting in the Civil War, Little Women is a very impactful film about the story of the girls growing up, finding love, and finding their place in the world.
#4 Halloweentown
The Disney Channel Original Movie directed by Duwayne Dunham, Halloweentown, has stolen the hearts of many. Released in 1998, the movie is centered on Marnie Piper (Kimberly J. Brown) who discovers she is a witch through a secret portal, and is transported to Halloweentown. Halloweentown is full of ghosts and werewolves, and eventually Marnie finds that she has to battle the wicked side of Halloweentown in order to stop an evil from taking over.
#5 Goosebumps
Accumulating around $158.3 million through the box office, the film starring Zach Cooper (Dylann Minnette) brought the world by storm because of its fun and simple entertainment. The movie features Zach and how he is hurt about moving from the big city has known all his life, to a small town. Soon after, he meets his neighbor Hannah (Odeya Rush), whose father R.L. Stine, (Jack Black) is the author of “Goosebumps.” After Zach accidentally unleashes the monsters from “Goosebumps,” R.L. Stine helps him and Hannah in their quest to return the monsters from his stories back to where they belong.
